It carries the GS gene with pride, which you can easily see from its family’s typical flyline. The central placement of the tank between rider’s seat and handlebar ensures that the wheel load is perfectly distributed as well as a nice, slim tail. With it, you long for the endless road and the challenge: the F 850 GS Adventure is at home in the world and that’s exactly what you can notice. With it, you defy wind and weather, are prepared for any terrain and experience the adventures of the world with the greatest possible comfort. Among other things, this is ensured by the large, height-adjustable touring windscreen, the standard comfort rider’s seat and the large 23-litre front tank. For a relaxed ride through wild terrain, your F 850 GS Adventure comes with durable attachments: in addition to the engine protection bar in series or the practical stainless steel luggage rack in preparation for the alumini-um top case, the side trim panel is also very robust. It wants to get out into the world: the powerful, newly developed parallel twin en-gine with 70 kW (95 hp) gives you and your thirst for discovery the right drive. The new engine concept impresses with powerful sound, stronger performance with 70 KW (95 hp) at 8,250 rpm and smooth performance – with a moderate consumption of 4.1 l per 100 km (according to WMTC). With a torque of 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm, this Enduro has enough power for any off-road challenge – wherever you want to take it.

Adjustable rider footrest

The spring-loaded rider footpegs with plastic treadplates are adjustable in three posi-tions and provide maximum on-off and off-road comfort and surefootedness. This means extra grip on the terrain and even better control of the machine when riding standing up.

Seat benches

The different seats for the F 850 GS Adventure offer individual comfort for every rider:
Standard seat in black / grey.
The standard seat contributes to the individualization of your bike with its two-tone de-sign in black / grey.
Low seat in black / grey or black / red:
The seat, which is 15 mm lower in black / grey (also available in black / red as an op-tion), makes getting on and off the bike easier and improves access to the ground.

Rally seat:
The higher rally seat is impressive with its good ground access, especially firm padding for off-road use and its distinctive enduro look.

Navigator IV

The multifunctional Navigator VI makes route planning child’s play. The system with a 16 GB flash memory and five-inch touchscreen always reliably leads the way. Thanks to the circular polarizing filter (CPOL), the waterproof display can be easily read even in direct sunlight. The high-resolution screen in a smartphone-like housing provides all the essential information and provides the necessary overview in every situation. Numer-ous additional functions make planning and touring an exciting experience. This allows routes to be created according to personal preferences in order to enjoy rides on wind-ing and low-traffic side roads. On unfamiliar terrain, the „round trip“ option is particularly helpful, as it will always reliably end back at the starting point. The Bluetooth connection to the BMW Motorrad communication system and the optional Smartphone Link app enable pure multimedia entertainment on the move: navigation announcements, tele-phone calls and music streaming, as well as the retrieval of weather forecasts or traffic jam information are no problem. Along with the navigation preparation, further functions like „My Motorcycle“ are also available, and it can also be controlled using the multi-controller on the handlebar. Anyone who has opted for the pre-installed map data is al-ways up-to-date thanks to the lifelong, free map updates.

Enduro aluminium bash plate

The sturdy aluminium enduro engine guard effectively protects the bottom of the engine from stone chipping and damage. The aluminium guard, which was specially designed for offroad use, is 2 mm thick and significantly wider and longer than the standard engine guard. Its special shape reinforces the machine’s striking off-road look.

LED auxiliary headlights

The powerful LED auxiliary headlights provide the necessary perspective in poor visibil-ity conditions thanks to extended illumination.

Headlight guard

The headlight guard, which has been approved for off-road use, is simply plugged in and effectively protects the headlight from damage in off-road conditions.
